Sunday my girlfriend and I went to the Piqua Heritage Festival in Piqua Ohio it was a beautiful day and there was so much to see . They have a living history encampment, crafts, petting zoo, old school house, entertainment, just to name a few of the things to see.
This is the Colonel Johnson home,he was a agent for the Miami Indians that were in the area . The home is open to the public and is the backdrop for the festival.

But you can always find at least one good small reasonably priced item to go home with. :) I just like to spend time in there... buying or not. Really, it's beautiful! We just returned from a rendezvous ourselves, where we spent three days wearing our 18th century clothing and our sons shot long bows and we all had a good time.
